Quick answer

Who is P Student Relief?

P Student Relief is a consulting and matching organization operating since 2016 from 555 Anton Blvd, Suite 368, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. We help former college students understand their private student loan options — chiefly debt validation, a right borrowers hold under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act — and we introduce qualified clients to an independent partner provider who performs that work. We are not a law firm, a lender, a debt collector or a credit repair organization, and we are not affiliated with any government program. We operate across 48 U.S. states. Not available in South Carolina or Mississippi.

Our story

Helping borrowers understand what applies

P Student Relief was established in 2016 in Costa Mesa, California, around a single premise: people facing private student loan debt deserve guidance grounded in what federal law actually says, not a sales pitch with a number attached to it.

Private student loans are the part of the student debt problem nobody handles well. They are excluded from federal forgiveness, from income-driven repayment, from every program borrowers hear about on the news. What is left are rights under consumer law and whatever a lender is willing to consider — and telling those two apart is most of the work.

We chose not to do everything in-house. Instead of running the validation process ourselves, we operate as a consulting and matching organization: we review your situation, explain your options honestly, and introduce qualified clients to a single independent partner provider with a verifiable track record. They perform the work under their own credentials, and you contract directly with them.

"The most useful thing we do is tell people when nothing we offer will help them. That conversation costs us a client and earns us the next three.
The P Student Relief team

We operate across 48 U.S. states. There are no upfront fees, the consultation takes about five minutes to request, and we are paid through a referral arrangement with the provider rather than by you — something worth knowing when you weigh what we recommend.

Mission & values

What drives us every day

Three rules we apply to every case. Not aspirations — operating constraints.

Transparency

Every cost, every timeline and every risk is disclosed in writing before you sign anything. We say plainly that our partner provider — not P Student Relief — performs the debt validation work, and that we are compensated through a referral arrangement with them.

Grounded in federal law

Everything we explain is grounded in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and related consumer protection statutes. We do not promise outcomes, and we do not describe rights as if they were leverage we invented.

Your decision, informed

You keep control of every choice. We explain the options that exist — including the ones that do not involve us at all, and the cases where doing nothing is the better call. You can leave any program at any time.

Why P Student Relief

What makes us different

Six operational facts about how we work. Verify any of them before you decide.

Private loans only

We work exclusively with private student loans — not federal loans, not credit cards, not other debt. Federal borrowers can access free programs directly at studentaid.gov, and we tell them so.

One advisor, not a call center

The same advisor handles your case from the first call through the plan. No rotating reps, no script-driven calls, no handoffs mid-conversation.

Nothing before you enroll

The consultation, the eligibility review, the plan and the introduction cost nothing. The provider's fees appear in writing before you sign, and you contract directly with them.

Rights, not tactics

Debt validation is a right under the FDCPA, not a trick. Exercising it does not by itself eliminate or reduce a valid debt, and we say so up front rather than after you sign.

A verifiable partner

We refer qualified clients to one independent firm, and Every credential we cite links to their public profile.

48 states, and we say which two are not

We operate across 48 U.S. states. South Carolina and Mississippi are excluded because of state licensing requirements for debt-related services, and the eligibility form tells you before you finish.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about our company

Direct answers about who we are, how we operate and how we are paid.

When was P Student Relief established?

P Student Relief was established in 2016 as a consulting and matching organization. The premise has not changed since: transparent guidance grounded in what federal consumer law actually provides, without the high-pressure sales tactics and hidden fees common in this industry. We operate across 48 U.S. states.

What exactly is P Student Relief?

We are a consulting and matching organization headquartered at 555 Anton Blvd, Suite 368, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. We are not a law firm, a debt settlement company, a consolidation company, a lender, a debt collector or a credit repair organization, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency or program. We do not assume consumer debt, we do not make payments to creditors, and we do not provide legal, tax or financial advice.

How is this different from a debt settlement company?

Debt settlement companies negotiate directly with creditors and take a percentage of the settled debt as their fee. We do not negotiate anything and we do not collect fees from clients. We explain your options, and if the situation fits, we introduce you to an independent provider who does the work under their own credentials and discloses their fees to you in writing. Whether that is the right path for you depends entirely on your case.

How does P Student Relief make money?

Not from you. The consultation, the eligibility review, the action plan and the introduction to the provider are free. We are compensated through a referral arrangement with the partner provider. That arrangement is why the consultation can be free, and it is also a reason to weigh our recommendation with that context in mind — which is why we state it here rather than burying it.

How many clients have you advised since 2016?

We do not publish client counts, because a headline number tells you nothing about your own case. What comes of any individual case depends on that borrower's loan documentation, their servicer and their circumstances, and no particular outcome is promised in advance.

Important disclosures
What we are P Student Relief, a trade name of JOCO Enterprises LLC, is a consulting and matching organization. We are not a law firm, a lender, a debt collector, or a credit repair organization, and we do not provide legal or tax advice. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency or program.
How we are paid The consultation and plan are free. We do not collect fees from clients; we are compensated through a referral arrangement with the partner provider. If you enroll, that provider discloses its full fee schedule to you in writing and you contract directly with them.
Results are not guaranteed We make no promise that any specific reduction, settlement, or outcome will be achieved. Results depend on your loan documentation, your servicer, your financial situation, and applicable law. Programs typically run 18 to 60 months. Not all applicants qualify.
Potential consequences Enrolling in a debt program may affect your credit standing. Withholding payments to a lender or servicer can result in late fees, added interest, negative credit reporting, collection activity, or legal action by the creditor. Consider these risks and consult a licensed professional before deciding.
Private loans only We assist with private student loans exclusively. Federal borrowers can access free programs — consolidation, income-driven repayment and forgiveness — directly through the U.S. Department of Education at studentaid.gov at no cost.
Availability Services are available in 48 U.S. states. We do not operate in South Carolina or Mississippi. State law governing debt-related services varies; some options described on this page may not be available where you live.

Debt validation refers to a consumer right under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. § 1692g); exercising it does not by itself eliminate or reduce a valid debt. Customer experiences vary and do not predict future outcomes. P Student Relief is a trade name of JOCO Enterprises LLC, 555 Anton Blvd, Suite 368, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
